Getting Lost in Pyrgos

Walking through the narrow alleyways in Pyrgos on the island of Santorini is like taking a trip through time. This village's buildings, labyrinth streets, fortified walls and hidden passages are some of the best examples of medieval architecture that you can find, yet somehow this tiny village has remained relatively untouched by mass tourism.

Everywhere I went and every corner I turned yielded new and exciting moments, and I was constantly in wonder of the architecture and peace that surrounded me.
